Pratt makes Droylsden switch

Photo: Hyde United FC

In search of regular first team football, Hyde United cult hero Tom Pratt has joined Tameside neighbours Droylsden on a month-long loan.

The 31-year-old has made 263 appearances for The Tigers across two separate spells, and will provide The Bloods with cover in a number of areas.

A winger by trade, Pratt featured in both central midfield and at right back last season, and will bring both experience and versatility to Dave Pace’s squad.

The former Ashton United and Mossley man will be hoping to make his debut this weekend as Droylsden travel to Burscough for an FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round tie.
