The body of a man has been found after a police welfare check on a flat this morning.
Officers discovered the dead man – who has not yet been named - in an apartment in Cavendish Mill, Ashton.
Despite the presence of a Crime Scene Investigation van, GMP say there are no suspicious circumstances about the death.
Three other police cars and an ambulance attended the scene, with visitors unable to access the building.
