A charity fun day is taking place this Sunday (5 September) in Gee Cross to raise funds for Willow Wood Hospice.
On the Move Property Boutique, an estate agency based in the village, has once again pulled out all the stops to help those who need it most.
Their latest endeavour is set to help Willow Wood Hospice to ensure they can continue their work in providing care to those with life-limiting illnesses.
To do this, they have organised a Charity Fun Day which will take place at The Grapes Hotel between 10am and 4pm.
This event will offer a variety of activity stalls, live music, bowling, bouncy castles, plus Morris dancing and more.
It will also see a selection of Hyde Werneth councillors stepping up to receive a wet sponge throw.
The councillors will face the stocks and give visitors the opportunity to launch a sponge while raising more funds.
All games will be £1 with all proceeds to the hospice.
