A schoolgirl has won plaudits from the North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) for a themed Easter scene she made for a school competition.
Ava-Grace shared her colourful creation with staff at Ashton ambulance station on Cambridge Street.
It features an egg carton ambulance – complete with blue lights - painted egg paramedics, lambs, Easter bunnies and a casualty awaiting treatment who has cracked in half.
“We live right by Ashton-under-Lyne ambulance station, so we often see ambulances and wave at the crews,” said Ava-Grace's mum.
“We were sitting in the car one day thinking of what theme to do when an ambulance drove past, and that’s when Ava-Grace asked if we could do an ambulance theme.
“Ava-Grace loves farms and all things animals, so we put the two ideas together and came up with our Easter scene dedicated to NWAS.”
