Tameside residents are being invited to enjoy a day of family-friendly entertainment at the Hyde Community Fair on Saturday, July 25th.
There will be a host of fun activities to enjoy while celebrating the work of local charities and community organisations. Organised by Tameside Markets and supported by Tameside Council, the fair aims to shine a spotlight on the community groups that help make the borough a great place to live.
Visitors can look forward to a packed programme of free attractions, including face painting, a Lego display, martial arts demonstrations, and a variety of dance performances throughout the day.
A number of local organisations and charities will also be attending, giving residents the opportunity to learn more about the services and support available in the area. Groups expected to take part include Hyde Fundraisers, Tameside’s Little Gems, Blaze Street Dance Academy, Rotary Tameside, Guide Dogs UK, the Tameside Pulmonary Fibrosis Group, and Secure Tameside Scouts.
Organisers say the event is designed to bring the community together, celebrate local achievements, and encourage people to connect with organisations making a positive difference across Tameside.
The event will take place on Saturday, July 25th, from 11am to 3pm at Hyde Market Ground, with activities hosted inside Hyde Market Hall and the Hyde Clarendon Shopping Centre. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
