Drivers are being reminded that major improvement works on the M60 between junctions 23 and 24 near Audenshaw will continue throughout the weekend.
The project includes resurfacing both carriageways, replacing traffic sensors and bridge joints, and renewing road markings. Most of the work is being carried out overnight, requiring lane and full carriageway closures.
On Friday, July 17th, a full clockwise closure of the M60 between junctions 23 and 24 will be in place overnight from 9pm to 6am.
On Saturday, July 18th, lane 1 will be closed clockwise between 6am and 9pm.
A further full clockwise closure will then be in force from 9pm on Saturday through to 6am on Monday, July 20th.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and follow the signed diversion routes.
