Plans to stage Shrek the Musical at the George Lawton Hall later this year have been postponed.
Mossley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society had planned to stage the show at the Mossley venue in November, but due to essential maintenance work at the George Lawton Hall the show will now be staged from February 28-March 5, 2022.
Maods said in a statement: “Just when we thought all was back on track, a new obstacle has hit!
“As the George Lawton Hall is our home, we want the show to happen in this venue rather than relocate.
“We thank you so much for all your patience and understand during these challenging times, and we look forward to seeing you in February or March!”
All tickets will automatically be transferred to the new dates, in the same seats on the same day of the week (eg Monday for Monday, Friday for Friday etc).
