Plans have been submitted to Tameside Council for the construction of new side and rear single storey extensions at the Ashton Christadelphian Church on Currier Lane in Ashton.
The planning request also includes the removal of an existing Portacabin structure at the site.
The Portacabin is presently attached to the main building and used as a Sunday School and youth room.
Tameside Council planners will consider the proposals.
