A Tameside woman wanted on suspicion of shoplifting has taunted police in an expletive-filled rant on social media.
Twenty-seven-year-old Amy Worsley said in the post on her Facebook profile: “Ahah ah ahahha f*** what you all have to say you all lick my a*** pictures old n half of use have been in my inbox.”
The post appears to be in response to an appeal put out by GMP over the weekend, which claims she is “wanted in connection with shoplifting offences” in Hyde in November and December 2024.
The ‘old picture’ is a police mugshot of Worsley that prompted dozens of disparaging comments about her appearance.
Police ask that anybody with information on her whereabout contact the non-emergency 101 number or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
