Stephen Hill, his son Thomas and friend Emma will be walking from Ashton's Anthony Seddon Centre to Old Trafford and back on Friday 10 July.
They are stepping out on the walk to raise awareness of mental health issues in men plus funds to help the charity support more people.
Stephen said that he has supported many of his friends through mental health matters and has very sadly lost good friends through suicide.
Walking for the Anthony Seddon Fund is a way of helping others to see how important physical activity is and to raising awareness about the importance of seeking help.
If you can support the walkers, you can visit their Just Giving page here: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/stephen-hill49.
You can also support the local MH Charity by emailing angiewild@tasfund.org.uk or visit their Facebook page and website to find more amazing things the charity does.
