80 runners assembled at Hyde Town Hall on Tuesday for a special race in aid of Daddies Escape club captain, Liam Mellon.
Liam was set to complete the Tour of Tameside earlier this month but was unable to do so after being involved in a car accident.
However, having recovered well from his injuries, Liam completed the Dr Ron Hyde 7 Mile to claim his fourth and final medal.
We spoke to Liam following the race. Here's what he had to say.
