Police are investigating after scaffolding worth £6,000 was stolen from the construction site of a new temple in Ashton.
Between 5.30pm on Wednesday 16 October and 7am the following morning, fencing and the chain on the main gate situated on Lees Road was damaged.
Offenders then drove a vehicle on to the site and removed a large quantity of scaffolding and boards, before fleeing in the vehicle.
Police are now appealing to residents who may have witnessed the theft to get in touch.
