Fire fighters from Glossop were tonight battling a huge moorland fire.
The fire was reported at 9pm on land near the Woodhead Reservoir near to the Woodhead Tunnel.
Fire officer from Glossop, Hyde, New Mills and South Yorkshire are at the scene.
People have been told to avoid the area.
