Denton West Community Association has called an urgent public meeting for Sunday 29 January to keep the Denton West Community Centre open.
The meeting is being held to discuss the future of the centre on Hulme Road, Denton.
The public meeting will take place between 2pm and 4pm and is for all members and residents of Denton West End and Dane Bank to discuss the future of the community centre.
In order to sustain the centre, the association needs to recruit a new committee of trustees and volunteers.
The association points out that without such a committee the centre will have to close in February.
