Network Rail say it will bring greener and cleaner trains in the future.
Whilst upgrade work continues over weekends, passengers are being advised to check before they travel by visiting nationalrail.co.uk
There will be no trains operating between Stalybridge and Manchester on Sunday (27 February), or Saturday 5, Sunday 6, Sunday 20, Sunday 27 March, or Sunday 3 and Sunday 10 April.
