Glossop mountain rescuers have taken delivery of a vital piece of achievement.
Following a fund-raising campaign, the team has taken delivery of a second 110 Landrover Defender.
Both vehicles will now undergo a thorough mechanical check and rust protection treatment.
A spokesman said: "In April we will commit to the next phase of expenditure, which will see them both being converted to Mountain Rescue emergency ambulances.
"This project represents the largest single expenditure in the teams history, but is necessary to secure the future of the team and our ability to respond and help those in need within our community and the outdoors.
"Projects like these simply wouldn’t be possible without your support and the support from our local community."
