Glossop overlooked in latest speed camera hotspots

Glossop roads have not made the latest list where Derbyshire CREST (Casualty Reduction Enforcement Team) will be siting their mobile camera units.

High Peak roads where the cameras will be looking for speeders and general motoring law-breakers are: the A6015 Birch Vale, B5470 Chapel-en-le-Frith and the A623 at Peak Forest.

The unit will monitor traffic until October 9 before moving to new locations.

CREST had mobile locations along the A626 trunk road in Charlesworth and Sheffield Road in Glossop as recently as last month.
