Man arrested after incident on main road in Glossop

Police closed off a section of the road whilst dealing with the incident.

A man has been arrested after police were called to an incident at a property on a main road in Glossop.

A spokesperson for Derbyshire Constabulary said the force was called to the incident on High Street West at around 7.50am on Friday morning (10 March).

One man has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody for questioning.

A cordon remains in place while enquiries continue.

A section of the road near to The Grapes pub was closed for around two hours, causing disruption for commuters travelling in the snowy conditions.
