Curzon Ashton midfielder Alex Curran has signed a new two-year deal, which will see him stay with The Nash until 2028.
Curran returned to the Tameside Stadium last February, for his second spell at the club, and has been a key figure in attack ever since.
The 27-year-old has started all but one of Curzon’s 37 National League North matches this season, scoring 12 goals and registering one assist.
Following his signing, Nash boss Mark Bradshaw commented:
“Alex is an outstanding player and a lead individual within the club, his contribution this season has been deservedly rewarded with a new long-term contract.”
Curran added:
“I’m really pleased to extend my stay. It’s a club that I absolutely love playing for, I’ve loved every minute, my family love coming – it’s such a family club.”
The goalscoring midfielder will lock horns with his former club this weekend as The Nash welcome Macclesfield to the Tameside Stadium.
