Mossley have confirmed the signing of teenage midfielder Harry Olufowobi, who joins on loan from fellow Tameside club Curzon Ashton.
Capable of playing as both a defensive midfielder and a central defender, the 17-year-old will provide The Lilywhites with cover in both areas going forward.
Despite his young age, Olufowobi has already featured three times in the National League North this season, as well as making a handful of cup appearances for The Nash.
The former Everton youth player also gained valuable experience at Glossop North End during a loan spell at Surrey Street earlier in the campaign.
Following his signing, Mossley boss Alex Craddock told the Reporter:
“We’re delighted to get Harry in for a month and be part of his development.
“He’s had an impressive year, coming from the juniors to represent Curzon’s First Team, and we’ve accumulated a couple of injuries lately so the timing for Harry to come in is ideal.
“Harry has had a spell at Glossop North End lately and done really well, so I’m looking forward to seeing him carry it on for us for the next month - he’s trained well this week and fit straight in with the group.”
Olufowobi will be hoping to make his debut this weekend, as his new side travel to basement NPL West side Trafford.
