New date needed for Tameside derby in League Cup

Ashton United's Integro League Cup tie against Stalybridge Celtic has been postponed.

The first-round clash at Hurst Cross was due to be played on Tuesday 17 September.

A new date will now be set for the game and released in due course. 

The same applies to Glossop North End's tie with FC United of Manchester at Broadhurst Park, with the postponement of their match confirmed yesterday (Wednesday).
