Two new faces at New Mills

New Mills AFC recruited two new players ahead of Saturday's 4-4 draw at home to Cammell Laird.

Forward James Kalu joined on loan from Curzon Ashton but wasn't in the squad for the weekend match at Church Lane.

The Manchester-based youngster has previously been on the books at Scunthorpe United.

Meanwhile, fellow attacker Shelton Payne arrived from Prestwich Heys and played the full 90 minutes against Cammell Laird.

He has also represented Trafford FC, Radcliffe Borough, 1874 Northwich and FC United of Manchester.
