Wasteful Nash beaten on the road

Curzon Ashton’s miserable record against Kidderminster Harriers continued on Saturday, as a single goal was enough to see the hosts get the better of the Nash at Aggborough.

The scoreline far from told the story of the afternoon however, with Mark Bradshaw’s side dominating proceedings, only to be stunned by a contentious second half strike.

Curzon ought to have gone into the break leading, with Brad Holmes spurning a couple of guilt edged chances early on, electing to shoot on both occasions when a pass seemed to be the better option.

The Nash were made to pay after the interval, with David Davis sweeping home from what looked to be an offside position to give the hosts the lead.

More chances followed for the visitors, with Holmes heading straight at Christian Dibble before Jimmy Spencer’s drilled effort was deflected just wide, but the home side managed to hold on and seal their sixth straight league win.
