All waste and recycling collections in Tameside will run as normal over the Easter bank holidays apart from brown bins, the council has confirmed.
Crews will not been emptying brown bins on Good Friday and Easter Monday and instead the bins will be emptied on the next scheduled collection day.
This will enable the available crews to focus on blue, black and green bin collections, which will run as normal over both bank holidays.
Residents can check bin collection days by downloading the Bin App or visiting www.tameside.gov.uk/recycling
