After taking place virtually for the last two years due to Covid-19, Tameside Pride returned to Cheetham Park in Stalybridge today. Here are some of our pictures by Nigel Wood from this afternoon's event.
Blessed with wall-to-wall sunshine the family fun day included plenty of live entertainment from a large stage, fairground rides, food stalls and a bar.
The event was supported by a number of local businesses and organisations and was an opportunity for Tameside to once again celebrate diversity, tolerance and equality.

The inaugural Tameside Pride event in the Stalybridge park back in 2019 attracted thousands and was hailed a huge success by organisers, but switched to an online event during covid.
