Three people charged with conspiracy to murder following the death of Thomas Campbell in Mossley will stand trial next year.
Coleen Campbell, 38; Stephen Cleworth, 37; and Reece Steven, 29, appeared over videolink for a preliminary hearing at Manchester Crown Court on Monday (15 August).
No pleas were entered during the hearing, when a further case management hearing was fixed for 24 October and a preliminary trial date of 9 January 2023 at the same court was also set.
Ms Campbell, of Bamford Street, Clayton; Mr Cleworth, of Charles Street, Heywood; and Mr Steven, of Poplar Street, Middleton, were each remanded into custody until the next hearing.

The body of Mr Campbell, 38, was found outside his house on Riverside at around 10.30am on Sunday 3 July. Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of concern for the welfare of a person and a murder investigation was subsequently launched.
Eleven arrests have been made in total so far in connection with Mr Campbell's death.
